Anyone with a good knowledge of audio who wants to gain a greater understanding of mixing monitors, using (and combining) wedges and in-ears and new technologies such as 'binaural sound'. People who are genuinely interested in tips & tricks from experienced professionals in the field.

 

BY WHO?

Floris Baert and Stijn Declercq are both freelance audio engineers and have already covered many kilometers as monitor engineers for small and large bands: Oscar And The Wolf, Bazart, Goose, dEUS, Magnus, Yong Yello, Netsky Live, Tourist LeMC etc on small, large and very large stages at home and abroad.

WHY?

Mixing monitors is an art in itself, every musician needs a different mix to perform comfortably. As a monitor engineer, we must be able to technically translate those needs and fully utilize and control the various possibilities of our equipment. In this two-day course we share our vision and workflow regarding monitor mixing.  How do we mix on wedges and in-ears, how do we combine the two. The importance of good communication with the musicians and the integration of new technologies such as 'binaural sound'.

COST: 400 EURO + VAT.  THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS LIMITED TO 12 PEOPLE!
